Pavani Gonuguntla is a digital accessibility professional at CGI, a premier global information technology and business consulting provider. She has an expert understanding of accessibility guidelines, including Section 508, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) specification. She provides assistance throughout all phases of the software development life cycle, including but not limited to: analyzing the accessibility features of third-party tools and custom-developed web applications, conducting accessibility design reviews of wireframes, mockups, and/or prototypes to identify potential accessibility barriers and violations, executing comprehensive accessibility testing, collaborating with the team on potential solutions for remediating accessibility violations, and creating Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) deliverables. She is also knowledgeable of user experience and user-centered design as a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) through Human Factors International. In recent years, Pavani has gained experience by co-presenting sessions with her lead to share accessibility lessons learned in 2018 and 2019 at the international CSUN Assistive Technology Conference.
