Elizabeth Whitmer is a digital accessibility professional at CGI, a premier global information technology and business consulting provider. She has an expert understanding of accessibility guidelines, including Section 508, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) specification. She is also knowledgeable of user experience and user-centered design as a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) through Human Factors International. In recent years, Elizabeth has gained experience as a conference presenter, having co-presented sessions to share accessibility lessons learned in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the international CSUN Assistive Technology Conference.
