Laurian Vega has served as a hiring manager for UX practitioners over the past eight years. She is currently working as a US Government contractor, and holds her PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Virginia Tech. She has created and instantiated the hiring evaluation process not just for her company but on behalf of Government contracts as well. She has hired a wide range of UX Specialists that would fall into the categories of UX Writer, UX Prototyper, UX Strategist, and UX Designer and looks forward to hiring many more.
