Accessibility evaluation can be a daunting task as there are more than 70 WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). This hands-on course will present an empathy lab and step by step guides to performing the accessibility assessments on websites and mobile apps for beginners and veterans. Participants will use a combination of automated checks using open-source plug-ins and manual verification. The attendee would walk away with a toolkit and a sense of preparedness to bring accessibility skills back to their team.

Participants should bring a laptop with the required software preloaded, an iOS or Android mobile device, and headphones.
